Filmankündigung “Orz Boyz” am Dienstag, den 28.10

Die Film-AG zeigt am Dienstag, den 28. Oktober 2008 um 20h00 in Raum 1.05 (Oettingenstr. 67):

ORZ BOYZ

“Dieser Film ist den Kindern gewidmet, die schleunigst erwachsen werden wollen und den Erwachsenen, die gerne Kinder wären.“

„Orz“ ist im Chinesischen ein Piktogramm für Schmach und Schande, weil es wie eine kniende Gestalt aussieht. Die beiden Protagonisten des Films, zwei heranwachsende Jungen, haben hingegen wenig Scham.
Als Bestrafung für alle ihre Schandtaten müssen sie für den Rest des Schuljahres in einem heißen, stickigen Raum nach dem Unterricht Schulbücher restaurieren. Doch anstatt irgendetwas zu reparieren, liest Nr. 1 seinem Kumpel Nr. 2 wilde Geschichten vor. So begeben sich die beiden Hand in Hand in eine Traumwelt, die sie die harte Wirklichkeit mit Schlägen und Entbehrungen in ihren mehr als zerrütteten Familien, vergessen lässt. 

Während sie nun in der Schulbibliothek nachsitzen müssen, schmieden sie einen phantastischen Plan: Mittels von zehn geklauten Ventilatoren wollen sie sich in eine andere Welt transportieren lassen – was leider nicht funktioniert. Doch sie finden eine Lösung: auf der riesigen, spiralförmigen Wasserrutsche in einem angrenzenden Wasserpark werden sie sich in eine andere Dimension, die Erwachsenenwelt ORZ, in der sie für immer glücklich zu leben gedenken, beamen lassen.

Gilles Ya-che Yang wurde 1971 in Taiwan geboren.
In Orz Boyz spielt er mit einer Bandbreite von Stilen, einschließlich farbenfroher, gewagter Animation aber auch schwarz-weiß Einstellungen.
